You did touch briefly upon it in Scenario 1, but even IF you only email a few people, this still doesn't mean you want to broadcast every single conversation you've ever had to everyone else in your contacts list. BTW - this was exactly what happened when Buzz debuted. Now you can blame it on people who won't RTFM, or you can blame Google for doing a half-assed job when they rolled out the feature.
